Mention on ESPN?

Got the following message from my sister last night:
I was just speaking with a friend about your books, specifically 'Truck Story'. He said that a couple of days ago he was listening to ESPN where the commentators were talking about a story of an uncle and two nephews watching the truck get loaded with Sox equpment for spring training. I have been all over ESPN's website and can't see it. Have you heard this???

I have no idea if it's true . . . but it would be kinda cool if it is!

I don't know what ESPN is, but anything with initials has to be cool. Kudos.

Hilarious. Forget sometimes you're "across the pond."

ESPN is the "all sports all the time" radio and television network.

that would be awesome!

i don't think i would ever find out if i was ever mentioned on ESPN. for all i know they say horrible things about me everyday (god knows why).

just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you :^)

well this post took a turn for the crazy, and now i don't know how to turn it back.

go red sox?

What an original place to be mentioned. I also blew coffee through my nose at Cate's comment.

Samantha - Should I ever hear ESPN say horrible things about you, I'll be the first to come to your defense!

(That's "defence", Cate.)

Jeremy - Thanks!
