You gotta admit, it would've made a great fictional tale . . . the brazen thieves . . . one by one . . . getting killed off in ways that would make those who caught on to "The Omen" grateful for the ways they went (lightning rod through the chest, beheading by glass, etc.)
Or maybe . . . they already are . . .
